Roxy Noonan was born in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa — also home to the iconic singing group, Ladysmith Black Mambazo. With a strong background in in-home aged care, Roxy brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep, genuine compassion for supporting the most vulnerable in our communities.
She is a qualified trainer and assessor, having taught Certificate III and IV in Individual Support to aspiring carers through engaging face-to-face instruction. Roxy is passionate about education and empowering others to provide high-quality care.
Beyond her work in aged care and education, Roxy is a published author. During the COVID-19 lockdown, she released her first book of poetry, giving voice to her creative spirit. She continues to explore this passion, currently working on a companion project to her debut collection. A lover of art, culture, and human connection, Roxy is endlessly curious about people from all walks of life and finds inspiration in their stories.
