We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys interacting with seniors and assisting them with their daily living activities. Candidates must be warm and friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for providing our seniors with high quality care and support. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, well-organized, and reliable, able to work both independently and part or a team. Proven experience in working with seniors, in either paid or voluntary capacity is desirable for this role.
What you'll be doing but not limited to:
Washing, cleaning bathroom & toilets, dusting & vacuuming around the home.
Accompanying and unaccompanied shopping for clients
Accompanying clients to parks, beaches, cafes etc.
Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients
Accompanying clients to doctor and physio appointments
Observe, monitor, and record client's physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.
What you'll Need:
Cert III in Individual Support
Police Check
First Aid & CPR
Blue and or Yellow Card
