Facility Manager - Aged Care - Maternity Leave Contract

We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager for this 5-month contract opportunity in Canberra.

You'll be joining a leading not for profit Aged Care provider who is well established in Canberra. This business-critical position will be responsible for supporting, coordinating and collaborating with a large interdisciplinary team including registered staff and carers and other members of the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate and lead the team to oversee Continuous Improvement, OHS, and Training programs, ensuring care standards are met.

• Work with medical and allied health professionals to support positive care outcomes.

• Provide recommendations and coordinate referrals to specialists following clinical assessments.

• Monitor AN-ACC reviews and ensure accurate documentation to optimize consumer care funding.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current unrestricted RN AHPRA registration

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification

• 3+ years as Facility Manager (or equivalent) within Residential Aged Care

• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, Code of Conduct and Charter of Resident Rights

• Exercise initiative relating to organisational policies and procedures

• Satisfactory national police check

• Successful candidates will have permanent Australian working rights
